This tutorial was very informative. It broke down every step required to complete a syntheic division problem. It showed numbers the as well as gave in-depth explanations. What I enjoyed most about the tutorial was the video provided. It actually had someone talking to you like youre in a class room. I could rewind and fast forward to make sure I listened to each step carefully or if I missed something I could go back and hear it again. I understand how to do synthetic division now. :]

The tutorial was very helpful. If I missed something or actually didn't understand something I have plenty of resources that could guide me through. It takes you step-by-step which enables you to see what you did wrong and what you did right.

dude it was very enlightening an it walked me through the problem then i tried one by myself an it was very successful

i thought that it was very useful and good and its was very good to use because it gives examples and it makes u able to understand more by trying multiple times to understand

P1_Kimuene_B
04/12/2010 5:55am

This tutorial is hard to understand at first but it gets easier when time passes by

04/12/2010 5:56am

I think that the tuorial really helps those who do not fully understnd but can have an example any time they need it.

p1_walker_M
04/12/2010 5:57am

this tutorial is a little confusing but in due time im sure i will understand it

P1_Baskin_K
04/12/2010 5:57am

The tutorial portion should have you to go back & show you the error you made instead of doing it all over. But other than that the website is cool.

P1_Gipson_R
04/12/2010 5:57am

I feel that the tutorial really helped me out step by step. The video helped even more because the man went by step by step like he was my teacher for today. He's just like u of the way he explains in details while going alone. The problem seems more clear to me now than before, eventhough I had an ideaa of what i was doing but it's improved a step better than before. Thanks to this website!!!

P1_Baskin_K

P.S. This site is INKredible & is there a new homework grid on here?

P1_Dale_S
04/12/2010 6:01am

I liked the tutorial because the video went in to detail and and explained synthectic division and went step by step.! It was real helpful because i learn better by someone showing me step by step and sometimes being able to look at the videos while in doing the problem that way it can help me remeber what step i missed so i can correct it.! I would definately use this again i think it will be very useful to me and help me do better on my work.

P1_McKinney_J
04/12/2010 6:03am

The tutorial provided for synthetic division was very helpful. It helped me get more understanding of each step. The step by step process was the best part of the tutorial, it broke down each step simple and understanding. The video was also helpful and easy to understand. Imma contiune to work with synthetic division so i can work with it with no problem!!

P1_Mitchell_J
04/12/2010 6:04am

I liked it a lot. I think that it could help me when I don't get something, since I never have time to stay after school and it enables me to get help from home.

04/12/2010 6:06am

dude i just tried another one for my self it was awesome i understood the steps i needed to solve the problem an it was good dude this site is cool an u will gain a ton of knowledge

P1_Mahmutovic_N
04/12/2010 6:12am

The "Roots and factors of a polynomial," tutorial didn't help me at all. It was uninformative and it didn't provide me with a video. So I left it as is, blank.

P1_Baskin_K
04/12/2010 6:14am

I've just got done with the 2nd tutorial & it was kind of easy. Without the guy explaining it was kind of not working out for me. P.S. Now since you gave me a link to make my own website by giving advice to people with life struggles.

P1_Lewis_T
04/12/2010 6:14am

I think without the video showing made it alot confusing and kind of difficult but on the other hand it give u some clues to what to do.

P1_Kimuene_B
04/12/2010 6:14am

Some of these subjects don't have a video to explain it so it was hard to understand the subjects

P1_Gipson_R
04/12/2010 6:14am

Well i didn't understand the example problem to the fullest of my ability but i still tried to solve the problem anyways. Mr. Taylors explaining in class in better in person and they didn't have any video to look at for more understanding so....

Pd1_Dale_S
04/12/2010 6:15am

This 1 wasnt as successful as the 1st tutorial because a video wasnt provided.! I still tried but i didnt have anything to go back and look on so that it could help me if i got stuck on a certain part of s problem.!

P1_McKinney_J
04/12/2010 6:20am

NOPE! this one wasnt very understanding. I belive the video was the most helpful. nd this one didnt have 1.. SO i will need more help on this lesson

TEH TUTORIAL WAS IAGHT...BUT IT COULD USE MORE VIDEOS DISPLAYING WHAT TO DO

P4_Snyder_D
04/12/2010 11:21am

I tried the tutorial like 4 times and I still get the wrong answer 3 out 4 times. It seems that it's helpful but I am still not getting it.

P4_Fletcher
04/12/2010 11:21am

It help me understand it a little more so i really do like this website i think we should do this more often.

P4_Thomas_T

yes this is a great tutorial to help me out and more help came when i played the video.

P4_Smithers_A
04/12/2010 11:22am

The tutorial was very helpful. although i knew how to do it before, this provided me more help. i am better at this now.

04/12/2010 11:22am

this is a pretty cool website.

P1_Mills_J
04/12/2010 11:22am

This tutorial was very helpful. It's good because it gave examples and it had a video to go along with it. :^)

04/12/2010 11:23am

yes i loved the tortorial in many ways for example because it was useful in many ways because I actuallly learned how to do it thanks to my homeboy Lee

P1_Thompson_K
04/12/2010 11:25am

this website is very helpful...it broke down the problems and showed you how to do them.If i need help on anything and you cant get to me at the moment I know I can go on this website and get the same amount of help!

P4_Ratliff_A
04/12/2010 11:25am

The website was very helpful, even though I already knew how to do the synthetic division. During this tutorial, I helped someone understand it better. It also recorded how many i had got right out of how many i have done. I thought that was imformative. It was a great hands on example, that showed and told me how to do it.

P1_Johnson_T
04/12/2010 11:25am

This was very helpful thank you Mr.Taylor for creating this site!!!

P4_Massey_J
04/12/2010 11:26am

To me this website is okay i said this because it was helpful but it was not fun. The examples were very insightful.

p4_Backus_E
04/12/2010 11:26am

This website was very helpful to me. At first i had a very difficult time at first. But now i am having a much easier time with it

THIS TUTORIAL SUCKS....I'M LIKE SUPER DUPER LOST

P4_DOBEY_J
04/12/2010 11:30am

I NEED A VISUAL AID

P4_English_M
04/12/2010 11:30am

i believe that this tutorial is very useful i learned an entire lession in like 5 minutes. I think we should use this technique instead of the other ones.

edvin cehic
04/12/2010 11:38am

the 2nd tortial was easier for me because i know zero's but it was hard because i had too do it on paper and put my anwcers on the labtop but i loved it

P4_Ivy
04/12/2010 11:40am

p4_Le_M
04/12/2010 11:40am

the other one was a little bit harder but i got it

P1_Johnson_T
04/12/2010 11:41am

Roots and factors of a polynomial with finding Zeros was VERY CONFUSING I didn't get it!

P4_Mills_J
04/12/2010 11:41am

The second tutorial was harder because it didnt have a video and it was harder to understand without somebody explaining it out loud to me first..

P4_Ivy_A
04/12/2010 11:41am

This tutorial was a little more confusing i have to say a visual aid is a major help.

P4_Smithers_A
04/12/2010 11:42am

the addition part of polinomials looked kind of difficult until i looked at the example. this website is very understandable.

P4_Ratliff_A
04/12/2010 11:42am

The second tutorial was easy just by reading it. VisuaL aid with the reading probably would of made the learning process easier, but I know how to do that to. LOL ttyl. ha ha

P4_Fletcher_J
04/12/2010 11:42am

I really didnt understand multiplying the polynomials but I do understand subtracting polynomials now thanks to the website.....

P4_English_M
04/12/2010 11:43am

i didn't get this certain tutorial maybe if i had more time i would be able to get it.

P4_Massey_J
04/12/2010 11:43am

The second tutorial was harder because it didnt have a video and im more of a visual learner so it was very inconsistint in helping me learn.

P4_Bennett_T
04/12/2010 11:45am

i know how to do it

P4_Liggins_J
04/12/2010 11:47am

this program did help me alot but i got fustrated with it ua few tmes, lke i get the idea, i juss get mi pos n neg mxed up i rely need to wrk on that so i hope to get better at it.

P5_Jones_D
04/13/2010 5:53am

Well it was a very helpful tutorial but i really didnt understand it and i didnt get the problem right, dont get me wrong i watched the video but that didnt work well enough for me.

p5_Walker_N
04/13/2010 5:54am

I really appreciated you allowing your students access to this website. Everything is now pretty much self-explanatory. I like the fact that this website breaks everything down to help us uot. Thank you!

P5_Haywood_L
04/13/2010 5:59am

this site really helped me understand math alot better.

P5_Bennett_I
04/13/2010 6:00am

I felt it did help because it had lots of examples, but what made it even better is that they had video examples.

P5_Leonard_K
04/13/2010 6:11am

I needed that video!

P5_Jones_D
04/13/2010 6:13am

This tutorial was very hard without the video. I didnot understand what the problem was asking

P5_Bennett_I
04/13/2010 6:13am

The second tutorial was less helpful it had only one example and no video. The language they were using was hard for me to understand and made it difficult to grasp the material.

p1_davytaylor_e
04/13/2010 6:14am

IT HELPED ME UNDERSTAND MORE THAN I DID WHEN I WAS IN THE CLASSROOM HAVING IT TAUGHT TO ME

P5_Haywood_L
04/13/2010 6:15am

the second problem was kind of confusing because there wasn't enough info. to work out the problem

P5_Dodd_A
04/13/2010 6:18am

*This website actually helped me out a lot. I really didn't understand the synthentic division process at first but after i qot access to this site it helped me to better understand this entire process step-by-step. I definitly like the video which u can re-play as much as possible instead of constantly annoying the teacher lol and I like the fact that there is plenty of examplez provided..:)*

P5_Dodd_A
04/13/2010 6:21am

Whoa I dnt qet tha 2nd problem...:(

P5_Jones_N
04/13/2010 6:28am

I feel that the second tutorial was harder than the first one... I hope I get it No I Kno Im get it LOL but its always fun when mathis invovled..

p5_Walker_N
04/13/2010 6:39am

I found that the second problem without the video was more complicated then the first one. Although, it is yet still helpful the examples do not break down the problems well enough. To me it felt like I was just reading my book.lol.

P6_Welby_L
04/13/2010 7:24am

I feel that the video helped but i think they shouldnt of used a perfect zero they should of had a remainder

P6_Davis_A
04/13/2010 7:27am

I found the video very useful. I really enjoyed the practice problems. At first, I didn't know how to do synthethic division, but now I'm a pro. I even helped my classmate. I felt as if i did really good. I hope that I can continue to do more of these, so that way Mr. Taylor won't be so tired of having to teach us the work when we can grasp the concept from a tutor online.

P6_Brooks_D
04/13/2010 7:28am

The tutorial helped me with figuring out the exponets of the synthetic division..i learned that the place holder for some exponets are because there is no number in the place

P6_Chatman_S
04/13/2010 7:29am

I really think that the videos are very useful. It"s good for people to work at there own speed without asking the teacher the same question over and over. also If I miss a step I can always go back and look at the steps over. the practice problem are good at the end also because it always help me to practice after I preview the videos.. This method is going to help me alot and I would use this method again!!!

P6_Edwards_S
04/13/2010 7:29am

i like the website because i like how they explain it and if you are confused or wasnt paying attention you can go back and rewind it and it has the practice problem that you can take and you feel good when it says correct but if u get it wrong it should tell you what you did wrong

P6_Sutton_K
04/13/2010 7:29am

The tutorials are really useful if u dont understand something you can go back over and over again to understand. They break it down really well and explain step by step I really like that you can check your mistakes and try again this is cool.

P6_Allen_M
04/13/2010 7:30am

I really enjoyed this tutorial, but the way that the tutorial arrived at its answer was way different then what i got, so it confused me a little, but I will figure it out.

P6_Safford_M
04/13/2010 7:30am

The video is very useful while doing the problem because it explains step by step. It would helpful if Mr. Taylor let us use the totorials for tests and eoc's.

P6_Thompson_K
04/13/2010 7:30am

This is a great Math site. I will bookmark it with Firefox when I get home.

P6_Paster_N
04/13/2010 7:31am

This tutorial was a great explanation of the synthetic division. I didnt have a clue on how to do synthetic division but this gave me a great video and steps on how to do it and now I think I can really work out synthetic division if it was giving to me...

P6_Scott_C
04/13/2010 7:32am

I feel as though this tutorial about the synthetic division is a little confusing to me because I haven't caught on to it yet but I feel as though I will. I'm a little slow on understanding this but if I study enough and look enough at the problems I feel like I may be able to grasp this concept. What I find rather difficult is wat to bring down out of the equation but then once I do understand then I solve the problem and I get what the problem was about.

P6_Zegenee_J
04/13/2010 7:32am

I really liked that the video could be stopped at any time so I can follow along with the teacher. I really enjoyed using the video to understand what is being taught to me.

P6_Matchingtouch_T
04/13/2010 7:34am

This website is great my test scores have improved by 30% in 2 days. Its totally unbelievable.

Thanks Mr. Taylor

P6_Wilder_B
04/13/2010 7:35am

I like the video example because it does make things easier when you see someone working the problem so you wouldn't be loss. It also refreshes your memory on the math equation.

P6_Brooks_D
04/13/2010 7:37am

Wats Unbelievable JOHN OLIVERS BOX LMAO

p6_Itzi_G
04/13/2010 7:38am

I enjoyed that video it was slow and very easy to understand. I would love to have many more video there for my further help if its possible!

P6_ Carter_J
04/13/2010 7:40am

I really enjoyed the site.. Thank you so much for forcing and caring so much to take out the time to put together this vitural learning tool for me and my peers. This really made me focus more and made me realize to take advantage of this tool so I can improve my math skills. Thanks Mr. Taylor
:)

P6_Thompson_K
04/13/2010 7:42am

I just looked at the video and I still don't understand.

P6_Rice_Aa
04/13/2010 7:47am

the video examples that are provided gives a little more guidance than the book..

P6_Edwards_S
04/13/2010 7:52am

I realy didnt like the second one because the directions werent really clear and it was all crowded into one space and i didnt even know where they got some of the roots they plugged in from .....

P6_Welby_L
04/13/2010 7:52am

I think that it was not helpful without a video

P6_Sutton_K
04/13/2010 7:54am

I think the roots and factors of a polynomial needs to have a video becuz i was sort of confused i like the step by step proccess but i prefer a video so that i could get a better understanding.

P6_Davis_A
04/13/2010 7:55am

The 2nd tutorial is very difficult. They didn't even have a video. The video was very helpful. I feel that we understand more when someone shows us how to do it. You can't just expect someone to just grasp a concept when not taught properly. Thsi tutorial was half done.

P6_Residor_S
04/13/2010 7:56am

This tutorial was very useful i now have clear understanding of synthtic division

P6_Wilder_B
04/13/2010 7:57am

i perfer the video because it helps if you can see what to do instead of looking at a example that doesn't explain all to someone who not all that great at the problem.

P6_Zegenee_J
04/13/2010 7:57am

I perfer to use the tutorial with video help because sometimes I need visual and audio help to understand more fully what I need to do, but I did some what understand the tutorial without video help.

P6_Patrick_D
04/13/2010 7:58am

The second tutorial on roots and factors of polynomials was a great but I would have liked to see a video explain so i could grasp the concept a little more. The videos are my favorite part. :]

P6_Matchingtouch_T
04/13/2010 7:59am

I was COMPLETELY confused. My Test scores Drop 6% in 10 minutes. We needed visual instructions.

P6_Chatman_S
04/13/2010 8:00am

the second one was not as good as the first tutorial maybe the video do make a huge differents!? but it was good to have the instruction but the visual wasn't there..

P6_Itzi_G
04/13/2010 8:02am

the written instrution are helpful just as well as the video but for me its easier with the video.

P6_Carter_J
04/13/2010 8:03am

The written part of the site is challenging I enjoyed the videos better becuase it was more hands on.

P6_Scott_C
04/13/2010 8:04am

This was a little more easy but a little more "out". The difficult part was of it was kind of finding what was the solution of the problem.

P8_Smith_B
04/13/2010 11:08am

Synthetic Division came rather quickly to me.The website however gave me more insite and actually broke down every step. This website is very useful and i plan on using it for future references.

P8_Parras_E
04/13/2010 11:10am

In this class i think that the tutorials that is used will help us in the long run in math class. This helped me understand alot more then what i did before

P8_Brown_M
04/13/2010 11:12am

This tutorial was very hepful for me because I don't really understand synthatic divison...it eventually got very challenging for me to get done with so all in all it helped out a lot with my understanding of the synthatic divison.the videos were alot better at understanding and actaully breaking down the process than the written part

P8_Smith_B
04/13/2010 11:16am

Now, for the Roots and Factors of a Polynomial, if i hadnt known anything about the topic before i would have been totally lost. This tutorial had no direct instrucion on where they got their numbers or nothing. This one really sucked!!!!!!!!

P8_Parras_E
04/13/2010 11:21am

The 2nd link did not help me as much because there was not video that could break it down like i would need it to. so during the process of the tutorial i got lost in the middle of the process.but i still kept trying and i got it

P8_Brown_M
04/13/2010 11:21am

The second website was not good for my understanding an there was not any videos to at least guide me and show the process because I tend to learn from others who have a solid understanding of the process .

P8_Whitford_D
04/13/2010 11:27am

Dude on the video really didn't seem to me like he knew how to explain the information. Watching this tutorial twice still was not helpful to me, I'm lost...... as usual.

P8_Young_R
04/13/2010 11:30am

The tutorial was very informative and in-depth. What I enjoyed most was lookin at the video of how to do synthetic division. Also, being able to do examples really helped me alot as well. We should do these tutorials in class more often. Thank you Mr.Taylor.!

P8_Hudson_I
04/13/2010 11:32am

i like this when the man in the video shows me step byye step to help me get how u get this

P8_Eveland_M
04/13/2010 11:35am

When I tried to do the problem, i quickly realised that i apparently had a problem that was 8 questions ahead of what i should of had. This made it very difficult to do and i had to resort to using the calculator. I tried to find a way to reset my score, but i couldn't find a way. Despite this, the website seems to be a very valuable resource to use for practicing our lessons.

P8_Houston_W
04/13/2010 11:35am

the tutorial helped me alot. i knew how to do synethetic division but i did not know how to do the last step after u finish done the division part when u do the quotitent

P8_Smith_S
04/13/2010 11:35am

The website was very clear for my understanding. But when i did it on my own i got stuck. This was a good idea!(this my first time using the website)

P8_Collins_D
04/13/2010 11:39am

This tutorial was hedlpful i was confused but now i understand better how to solve the problem for the p and q.

P8_Moore_K
04/13/2010 11:39am

i thought looking at the examples and videos on synthetic division was very useful it helped me alot. at first i kinda understood it but doing it this way made me understand it way better. i will use this website more offen:-)
